Registration
To enrol for a BCNMETROPOL course, you should complete a course registration form and pay a deposit of 150 euros deductable from the total cost. The course registration can be completed and signed in our office or can be completed online.
The remaining course and accommodation fees should be paid 2 weeks before the course starts. For courses in Barcelona, the remaining course and accommodation fees can also be paid before or on the first day of your course. Should you apply less than 30 days before the starting date, we may be unable to guarantee the requested type of accommodation.
If you are not in Barcelona, when we receive your completed enrollment form, we will confirm within 48 hours by email or fax, if you have been accepted for the course of your choice.
Course and booking changes
The school reserves the right to cancel or alter a course. In this eventuality we will offer an alternative course or refund. Should you wish to make booking changes after your initial enrollment, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Course information
The minimum number of participants in a course is four students. If there aren't a sufficient number of students for the requested level of Spanish we will offer the student half the number of classes as individual lessons.
The maximum number of students in a class is 15
1 hour of classes = 55 minutes.
The minimum age to enrol is 16 years.
The school reserves the right to dismiss any student in the event of misconduct or persistent lateness without refund of fees.
Payment
Payment is always in advance.
If you are in Barcelona you can pay in cash at the school. If you are not in Barcelona you can pay by electronic transfer from your bank account. The payment details for an electronic bank transfer can be found on this page.
Please note that any bank charges or commission in connection with electronic transfers are not included in our prices and should be covered by the student.
Refunds & cancellations
Under European law we do not refund any payments if a student chooses to leave a course that has started.
We do not refund for student illness or student absence during a course.
We do not refund for national or local public holidays, which cause classes to be cancelled.
Cancellations and refunds for advance bookings prior to the course beginning date.
Cancellation of a course that has been paid in full:
· 4 weeks before the first day: 50% refund
· between 28 and 7 days at most before the first day: 30% refund
Deposits: where a cancellation is received 4 weeks or more before the course is due to start, the students will receive a 30% refund of the tuition deposit paid.
For cancellations received with less than 4 weeks notice, the deposit is non-refundable.
To cancel your booking of a Spanish course you must send us an email or fax stating:
· your contact details.
· your Spanish course details.
· the amount that you have paid.
· the date of your booking.
